LYCAN ABILITIES
Luna’s POV
Alpha Aiden had us escorted to our rooms that night, and I was surprised to see how nice the room I will be staying in was. The bedroom had a faux cowhide pelt rug, with white oak furniture and a white antler chandelier right above a Queen sized bed that gave the bedroom a very rustic chic look. I couldn’t sleep that because I kept playing what my grandfather and Alpha Aiden had told me over and over in my head. In the morning after I hopped out of the shower, I put on one of the outfits my Nana brought me. Nana is always prepared she even brought clothes for mom too.
Mrs. Lupin (Queen Amy-Nana): Morning dear.
Luna: Morning Nana.
Queen Amy-Nana: Looks like you didn’t sleep well, hmmm.
Luna: Yeah, it’s just so much to take in.
Queen Amy-Nana: I understand dear we didn’t mean to overwhelm you, but you needed to know we thought we would’ve had more time.
Mr. Lupin (King David-Pop): Good morning sweetie, you have to admit though it’s better late than never.
Luna: Good morning Pop-pop, Yeah I guess if you say so.
King David-Pop: So Alpha Aiden tells me you want to train, so you can challenge the Alpha King Elijah.
Luna: Yes, it’s true Alpha Aiden told me since I have Alpha Blood I can challenge the Alpha King, but I need to train to become faster and stronger. I also have to find a mate.
King David-Pop: Yes, but it can take years before you find your mate.
Luna: Honestly pop I don’t care about finding a Mate. I just want to train and kill the bastard who raped my mother.
King David-Pop: Understandable, but first things first You need to educate yourself on the history of Lycans and wolves. You must also learn all our laws.
Luna: That sounds easy.
King Davis-Pop: I wouldn’t expect it to be difficult for you, after all, you are your mother's daughter.
Luna: (Laughing) Are you calling me a nerd?
Queen Amy-Nana: No dear, that means you learn fast with your photographic memory. You will also have to practice harnessing your Lycan abilities.
Luna: Lycan abilities?
King David-Pop: Yes sweetie, we Lycans can sometimes have one or two abilities. I can teleport anywhere in the world, and I can move things with my mind.
Queen Amy-Nana: And I can form fire from within. I also can persuade others to do my bidding.
Luna: Wow that's cool! Does mom have any abilities you know of?
Queen Amy-Nana: Yes, your mother is a shield.
Luna: A shield?
Queen Amy-Nana: Her skin is impenetrable as well as her mind, your mother didn’t have that ability the night of the party. Her abilities came when she was in the hospital two days after being brought in we found out she was pregnant.
Luna: What do you mean two days after, if that's true then how did the rogue bite down on mom's leg?
Queen Amy-Nana: Your mothers Lycan must have been worried about you that she forgot to put her shield up.
Luna: What? How is that even possible?
King David-Pop: That's a discussion for another time, sweetie, let’s just focus on you harnessing on your abilities for right now.
Luna: (sigh) Ok, let’s go see mom she’s up.
Queen Amy-Nana: Yes dear, but she might not be up…
I raise my hand up as to say stop cutting Nana off
Luna: Nana she is awake.
Nana and Pop look at each other than at me skeptically.
King David-Pop: How do you know?
I shrug my shoulders.

Luna: I don't know how I know, I just know if that makes sense.
