Tell me if you are. I don’t see why you can’t be with a guy like me. I don’t understand what’s going on. Please give me a chance, please…” I pleaded, but she turned her face away. I knew she was hurt. I could feel it. But why wasn’t she telling me the reason for her behavior? “Why are you rejecting me? What did I do wrong?” I asked again and again, but she wouldn’t give me an answer. It seemed like she was trying to forget something. Desperation clawed at me as I watched her struggle with her emotions.
