Todd cranked his head forward to let the hot water hit hard enough on his flesh to loosen muscle and relax his neck and shoulders. As nice as Clarke was being to them, this entire situation sucked, and they all knew it. The impulse to grab Nick and run, vanish into the wilderness, was nearly impossible to resist.
