It wasn’t often I was lost for words but as I heard Brad utter sister my heart froze. Them my brain caught up and realised that Patty had been to caught up in Josh that she hadn’t yet interrogated me about my whereabouts the other night.
No time like the present to make my thoughts on Brad clear, before my mind got a chance to be impressed by his slalom skills.
Thankfully my class was now finished and I could leave. I sped off leaving the others on my wake and dumped my stuff in the staffroom. Patty would wait outside for me to give me a lift home, hopefully her compatriots would have gone already if I took my time.
To my dismay my phone chimed as I was leaving, a text from Patty telling me Brad had offered me a lift and she was going for food with Josh.
