After my talk with my dad, he decided that being suspended was enough of a punishment for me. But I was to not go anywhere while it was school hours and had to do all my schoolwork. Dad said it wasn’t a vacation.
When I told him the whole story of what happened, I punched Colt. Dad agreed with mom that they were glad I was defending Keira but wished it wasn’t with violence. My dad can’t stand Colt’s father, which I think is why I wasn’t grounded.
I was trying to make sense of my calculus problems when my phone pinged. I wasn’t expecting anyone to text me already. The school was just starting.
