I was excited watching out the bay windows for the car to pull up. I was meeting Ryan's family. While I was nervous I was more than a little happy for him to be back.
Jake did another flying leap from one couch to the other after beating his uncle at the game. It was passed his bedtime but also Christmas eve. Kids could open a present at midnight. He had a mountain of presents his dad had some delivered today but the lion share was his three over eager uncles and grand parents.
"Kid, you have to calm down. If you fall you won't get your present tonight." I reprimand as he ran past me almost falling in his excitement. He walked over slowly and I saw the exhaustion in his face. He was doing all of this to stay awake.
