Amelia was left alone and she actually liked it, being where she was right before she came out of society—the comfort of silence and solitary. She quietly walked to the balcony, hiding from the watchful eyes of others. She breathed deep as she stares at the skies, certain that someone else is looking at the moon she is looking at. "I dread what comes in the world where we are not welcomed, I dread everything that is uncertain, and I dread life itself." If only her father is here. It would've been less wearisome. The music became inaudible and everything singled out on her appreciating the darkness and the mystery it brings. There was a time she never wanted to be left alone in the dark. She has always been with a company. But now, she has grown accustomed and actually liked it somehow.
