Blair's POV
As my father and I return to his Castle, I see my mother's car standing in front of the Castle. I know she will be pissed off at me, and I am not in the mood to fight with her tonight. I know how she can be. She can be rude to anyone that dares to go against her. Today I was brave and went against her. She was never like a mother to me. I do not know why she and my father dumped me into an orphanage or something. It is not like any of them had the time or energy for me.
"What do you want?" I ask as I step out of the car.
"Honey, I am not here to talk to you, but I need to talk to your father alone," My mother says. I look at her as if she is an alien. Since when does she call me honey? I do not want to talk to her, so I walk to my room. But halfway there, I stopped at the stairs to hear what she had to say.
"What are you trying?" I hear my mother's voice.
"Trying to give our daughter a choice," My father says.
"Well, it is not going to work. She belongs with the wolves and not with vampires," My mother says.
"Do you even care what your daughter wants?" My father asks.
"She is the mate of the most powerful Alpha's son. She has no choice, and she needs to be with him," My mother says.
"She needs to be with no one! We are her parents, and we were not even there for her! How dare you force her to be with someone she does not want to be with? I do not care if she wants to be with the Prince of vampires. It is my daughter's choice, and you can forget, Felecia, that we were once mates, and you rejected me! Your choice to wait for your wolf mate, but he never showed up, did he? So, I am not going to make you let our daughter choose someone she does not love," My father says.
"What the hell are you talking about her being the mate to the vampire Prince? She has a strong wolf and should be with the wolves! You and she has no say in this," My mother screams.
"Really? Well, I am giving her the money to go to any university she wants to go to, and you can not stop me. Also, I will not let her bully be her mate, neither of them," My father says.
"Lucian, please, my pack is in trouble. If I do not let Blair mate with Lorens, then they will take over my pack, and I will be without a pack," My mother says. I realize how big my responsibility is toward my pack, but I am not fully part of them yet.
"Did you make her your heir to the pack?" My father asks.
"No, I did not. I made my nephew my heir," My mother answers, and I am surprised that she is so honest about it.
"Then what obligation does she have to you and your pack?" He asks.
"Don't put things in her head!" My mother screams at my father.
"You think she does not know this?" My father asks.
"f**k you! Bloody bloodsucker! I am going to lose my pack!" She shouts.
"Well, maybe it will be the best thing to happen to you. You are only worried about your pack and not your daughter. Maybe, you should concentrate on the things that are more important in your life than being a bloody alpha!" My father shouts back.
"Like what?" My mother shouts back.
"Like our daughter and me!" My father says, and I feel he has said something he did not want to. They are both quiet.
"You? Hahaha, don't let me laugh. You are nothing to me," My mother says. I look down to see what the hell is happening as they are both quiet again. I see my father kissing my mother. Ewww!!!! He picks her up and carries her to his bedroom. I do not want to know what the hell is going to happen in there. I run up the stairs and curse my wolf and vampire, hearing as I can listen to them moan in pleasure.
"Can you two keep it down? This isn't very comfortable!" I shout.
"Sorry, but it is part of life, baby girl," My father laughs.
"Get off me!" My mother yells, and I know she feels embarrassed that I hear them making love.
"Hahaha, Filicia, do not flatter yourself. I do not want to be on top of you, and this only happened because you started to kiss me first," I hear my father laugh.
"f**k you! I hate you!" My mother screams.
"Can you two hold it down? I am trying to sleep here. Just make love and stop shouting it is annoying," I scream. I love t embarrass my mother. She is a b***h, and she always wants her way.
"Shut up!" She screams at me.
"No, you shut the hell up and do as I say," I hear my father laugh, and then I hear my mother moan again. Damn, how will I ever look them in the eyes again after tonight?
"Why don't you ask my father to help keep your pack while you have him in that position?" I shout. I can hear my mother taking in her breath.
"Seriously, we need to do something about that child's manners and hearing," I hear my mother says.
"Hahaha, just ask me for help, and I will help you," My father says.
"No!" My mother says.
"You know you might be pregnant again. I did not use protection," My father laughs.
"Seriously! Ewwwww! I do not want to know your business!" I shout from my room and try to cover my ears, which does not help as my hearing is excellent.
"Stop listening to us," My mother shouts.
"How? I can not help hearing everything! Tell my wolf and vampire to go to sleep! Believe me that is what I want to do, and forget about the two of you!" I shout back. My dad starts laughing as he finds it funny, and I hear my mother giggle for the first time. So the b***h can laugh?
"Go to sleep, angel. We will talk in the morning. I promise no more moaning," My dad says.
"I will believe that when I don't hear that!" I scream back, and my father bursts out laughing. I am glad he finds it amusing, as I do not. Who wants to hear their parents make love? I bet no one! I hear a knock on my window, and I look over. I see Oliver standing there. I sigh.
"I am not going to invite you into my room, Oliver. Please leave!" I say softly, so my parents do not hear me.
"Please, come out on the balcony. I need to talk to you," Oliver asks me.
"Fine," I whisper and walk out on the balcony.
"Listen, Blair. I know I bullied you for years, and I am sorry. I do not know what to do to make it up to you," Oliver says.
"How about you stab yourself with a wooden stake in your heart to prove it to me?" I say sarcastically.
"I will do anything but that," He says.
"Well, then, you do not love me," I laugh.
"It is not funny, Blair. I am here to declare my love to you," Oliver says.
"You fuking fool! Get away from her!" I hear Lorens shout from behind Oliver. I see him climbing on the balcony, and I am amused. Well, two lovers in one night! Who would have guessed the odd one out would get the two most wanted guys in school?
"Both of you get the hell out of here," I hear my father say from behind me, and my mother is standing beside him with a robe on. How much more can they embarrass me?
"Alpha Blake? What are you doing here?" Lorens asks. He looks surprised.
"I am here to visit my mate! You can tell your father if he wants to take my pack. He must be ready to face my family as well," My mother says. Okay, I am now totally confused. Since when are my mother and father mates? And who the hell is my mother's family?
"Alpha Blake, My father will never attack your pack and take it over. I will not allow it as long as Blair becomes my mate," Lorens says.
"Sorry, but that is not possible. My daughter has a choice, and it is hers to make," My mother stands up for me for the first time in my life.
"Okay, who are you, and what did you do to my parents?" I ask.
"No, honey, I should have done this long ago. I should have accepted my fate and loved you, but I was wrong. I did not stand up for my daughter and the vampire I love. I can not deny it anymore. I have one mate and his child, and I love both of you!" My mother says.
"You are compelling her to say this, ain't you?" I ask my father.
"Nope, I am not. To be honest, I am as surprised by her words as you are," My father says.
"Wow, you two should make love more often. It turns my life around," I joke.
"Blair! Do not talk about our family affairs in front of strangers," My mother says.
"I did not know they were strangers to you. I thought they were your friend's children, that you cared more about than me," I say. Oliver and Lorens look uncomfortable as I talk about them as if they are nothing to me.
"Well, you two, off you go!" My mother shouts at my two mates. I almost laugh as she acts as if she cares about me. I guess if she and my father mark each other, we will be a family of hybrids as both of them will turn into what I am.
"Yes, ma'am," Oliver and Lorens say, and they jump off the balcony. I see them fighting while they are running away. In my heart, I hope they kill each other, and I do not have to choose between them.
"So we are a family now?" I ask.
"Apparently," My father answers.
"You know if you mark each other, you will turn into what I am?" I say.
"Honey, from now on, I do not care anymore. If my pack wants to kick me out for being with the creature I love, so be it! It would be best if you were the same. You should choose the one you love," My mother says. I do not trust her. I think she is up to something.
"So what made you decide after all these years to be with my father?" I ask.
"Yeah, I want to know that as well," My father says.
"I have realized how much I am missing out on. I do not have love in my life and I do not have the family I desire," My mother says.
"Well, she is your problem. I am not even going to answer her on that one," I say to my father. She sees us as second best, is how I feel.
"What if I do not want you?" My father asks.
"Then I will have to put up a better performance than earlier,' My mother says seductively.
"Eww! Get out of my room and do what you want to, but do not expect from me to be your daughter. As soon as I finish school, I leave unless I decide to take one of those douchbags as my mate, but even then, I want nothing to do with the two of you," I say.
In the distance, we hear a howl. I know it is not from any wolfpacks, which spells danger for us. My father and mother are also on high alert, and I can sense it. Who or what is that? I can hear it is not a normal wolf coming out way. I instinctively want to run as I know the danger is coming for me. I know I have to get the hell out of here and fast.
"Run, honey! We will fight it off until you are safely away," My mother says.
"Yes, it is here for you, and we do not know who or what it is, but run, baby girl. We will protect you from whatever it is," My father says. I see my father marking my mother, and I know he does it to protect her from dying when they fight whatever is coming.
