ETNA Absolutely clueless. That what I was thinking as I got into bed. The two girls I met today had absolutely no clue what they were. It was so hard to believe that less than two months ago, that was me! Absolutely clueless! They were nice girls though, as I fell asleep I couldn't help but worry about what would happen to people like them. The next morning was my first set of tests. Nothing too scary. They took blood and urine samples, swabbed inside my mouth, and took my blood pressure, temperature and checked my pulse. Within half hour, I was back in my room wondering what to do until the next test. I was just making a cuppa when there was a knock on the door. "Sorry for the intrusion," said Grace when I opened the door. "We asked reception what room was yours," Beauty informed me. "Hope you don't mind," continued Grace. "No no, it's fine, come on in," I went and sat on the sofa, they both joined me. "We wanted to see how your first tests went" said Grace. "I hate needles," said Beauty. "All fine, was expecting it to be a bit more scary for the amount they're paying us!" I commented. "They're really just paying us to put up with the receptionist," Grace laughed. "Ugh definitely," agreed Beauty. "There's something about her that just screams w***e, I just cant figure out if its the low cut shirt or short skirt!" We all laughed. We chatted for a bit, getting to know each other. I was wondering if it was too early to start seeing what they knew about the facility and people behind it, when they started their own line of questioning. "So what do you think we are?" Asked Grace. "Like, why don't we have an expiration date!?" Asked Beauty. The both looked at me, waiting for an answer. "If I knew that, or had any idea, I wouldn't be here would I?" I laughed. "We're probably going to go through all these tests to find out its a random fluke and doesn't mean anything," I tried to sigh convincingly. "I think it means were special," said Grace. "Better than normal humans, maybe not even human" I laughed, "wouldn't that be something! I have another testing appointment soon, so I best get ready". We said goodbye, and they headed off together. I really did have another set of tests soon, but I was also glad for the excuse. That conversation was getting a little bit uncomfortable for me. Absolutely Clueless.
