Abby was in a daze, she slowly touch her lips and felt her face heat up.
"Abby" Mark called
Abby snap and looked at him.
"Huh. Yeah" She said
"The cupcake design want to take a look?" Mark said
"Y..yeah" She stuttered out
She looked at the sketch that Mark made.
"The small music note will be in chocolate, and the big note will also be chocolate and use silver on it to make it look like diamonds" Mark said
"I like the idea" Abby said
"Okay, one more question. Why is your face red?" Mark said
"Get to work" Abby said
She shoved him away and shook her head, when she looked up she saw Demetri glaring she looked where he was looking at and she saw Mark working, she looked back at him and he smile and gave a wave, she gave him a small smile. Abby went back to doing her work, she finished up the rest of the chocolate and began shaping the big diamond out, she did half and half so she can put in the candy pearls, that have yet to be colored.
"What do you think" Her father said
Abby looked at the chocolate pearl her father made it was a shiny white.
"Will it fit?" Abby said
"Of course I made it long enough to make it look like it's draping" Arthur said
"Okay, I just need to put the candy in but if I keep in the freezer will the candy freeze too?" Abby said
"It will be okay on the day" Arthur said
Abby nodded her head, just as she was about to start on it the bell sounded so they had to stop their work, they cleaned up their station, once that was all complete when went into the back where they had lockers for them to change. When Abby finished Demetri was waiting for her.
"Your dad and Mark left" Demetri said
"Okay" Abby said
She pulled her hair down, and put the hair tie in the purse.
"Want to grab dinner?" Demetri said
"Sure" Abby said
They went out of the building, and got into the car and Demetri made a call to the restaurant and told them it was an hour wait.
"They said in an hour" Demetri said
"Okay, we can just walk around" Abby said
They got drop off near the place and they began walking around Abby was liking the place, she then remembered getting a present for Carmella, Demetri was looking at Abby, she was smiling looking around Demetri couldn't help but smile as well. Abby saw the flowers she went towards it, she liked lavender flower's.
"How much?" Abby said
The man handed it her and wave to her, Abby smiled.
"Thank you" Abby said
The man spoke in Italian and kisses his hands blowing kisses to her, Abby did the same and waved goodbye to him and kept walking. Demetri smiled he kept his eyes on her, that he didn't look at his surroundings as the men in the street were also looking at Abby.
" Amore mio, posso avere il tuo numero." A man said as they went up to Abby (My love can I have your number)
"Oh, sorry I don't speak Italian" Abby said
Demetri saw it and his eyes darken, he went up to Abby and stood by her.
"Ti suggerisco di lasciare mia moglie in pace. Vattene prima che trovino il tuo corpo nella spazzatura" Demetri said ( I suggest you leave my wife alone. Leave before they find your body in the garbage)
Abby was confused with all the Italian language, she saw the guy leave and she had frown on her brows.
"What did he say?" Abby said
"He was asking where you got the flowers" Demetri said
"Did you gave him the directions because he went the wrong way" Abby said
"I told them it is probably closed now, that reminds me we should get to the restaurant are table should be ready soon" Demetri said
Abby smiled and nodded her head, she looked down at the flowers again, Demetri wrap his arm around Abby on the waist, Abby was so busy with the flower she didn't notice. Demetri was now glaring at the men that were looking towards Abby, now his mothers words made since to him but as he looked at her and she was too busy into the flower she didn't even know what was going on in the world.
"Table for Russo" Demetri said
"This way" the woman said
She eyed him, but Demetri ignored her and he kept holding Abby as they went in, Abby was looking around the fancy restaurant.
"Buona serata. Cosa berrai stasera." A waiter said to them (Good evening. What will you be drinking toninght)
Abby looked towards Demetri.
"Una bottiglia di vino. Quello più costoso" Demetri said (A bottle of wine. The most expensive one)
The waiter nodded his head, and left.
"I ordered us wine" Demetri said
Abby nodded her head, she looked around and like the style of the place.
"I like this place, it's really fancy yet elegant" Abby said
"What do you want to eat?" Demetri said
"I don't know it's all in Italian, why don't you order for me" Abby said
"Okay are you enjoying Italy so far?" Demetri said
"Yes, the views are so nice, I just wish I could go sight seeing like the kids but, work comes first" Abby said
"Well if you want we can go this weekend before we met back to Naples" Demetri said
"Are you sure? Your not busy?" Abby asked
"Yeah, I am free took some time off from work" Demetri said
"I forgot to ask what do you do for work" Abby asked
Demetri, stiffen for a bit but took a sip of his water.
"I am a CEO" Demetri said
Abby waited for him to say more.
"Just a CEO? Of what?" Abby said
"Of Business" Demetri said
"A CEO of business?" Abby said
"Yeah I don't want to bore you with my work talk" Demetri said
Abby nodded her head, but she thought it was weird so she just left it.
