Dan Raven looked with delight at the ring that lay in the palm of his hand. For a moment it seemed to the player that the ring was also looking intently at him with its blue eye. Dan wanted to know the properties of the object and his eyes widened when a description of the object with an unnaturally large number of lines about the properties of the artifact appeared before him.

The Ring of My Precious was forged by the Grand Magister of Magic in ancient times. The reason for his passion for the hobbit folk is unknown. But legends hold many references to a wily trickster who could hide his true name!]
"Hahahahahahahaha! Zonked! Someone doesn't like Gandalf," laughed Dan.
Suddenly Dan realized that an epic ring with many unclear attributes and properties could be a great threat to its owner. To get hold of this ring they would cut off the finger on which he would wear the artifact. No law of Karma will stop the bastards from violence and a desire to get hold of this precious object.
Dan wanted to hide the ring in his inventory and a view of his vault appeared before his eyes. The inventory now looked decent. It had 22 cells and the sight of two strips of 11 cells was pleasing to the eye in its accuracy. Dan was pleased to see that the daggers were stacked and it was possible to stack 100 daggers in 1 cell. All the poison bags were also stored in one cell. Dan enjoyed looking at the 11 wonderful bags of wonderful poison that an apothecary would need. The ring disappeared from the player's palm and found itself in the inventory next to a greenish stone. It was the first time Dan had ever seen that stone. He frowned. What kind of a schmuck was this? Why was there an unknown object in his inventory? At this time, an explanation appeared before his eyes.
[Meva's Stone.
Protection + 30.
Allow the blacksmith to embed the stone of Meva in your armor and strengthen your defense!]
Dan remembered that he had been given a reward for killing the boss. He looked sympathetically at the remarkable stone. He wondered what kind of artifact it was. Was it reusable? Could it be inserted in and out of armor? If it's a cool reusable stone its value is very high. At level 3 he had a defense of 11. A stone like this can be a great way to enhance a character.
Blacksmiths are needed everywhere! Dan wanted to become a blacksmith again to learn new secrets and possibilities of the game.
The player closed his inventory and began gathering the rest of the daggers from the stones of the cave. He wanted his mana restored as soon as possible. It was boring without Tom. Dan began to suspect that the Game was angry with him. He wasn't getting any answers to his questions! Had the Game made Tom the Chief Counselor for him? That's not fair!
Dan sighed. The world had changed, but there was still a lot of unfairness and uncleanness in it.
Now came the moment Dan had been waiting for ten long minutes. He summoned his phantom.
"Cool stuff!" Tom didn't even pay attention to the book in his partner's hands. "Show it to me!"
"You want to see my precious?" Dan bent down and pictured one unfortunate who lost his ring. He objected in a mysterious whisper. "That's my precious."
"Ugh! i***t. Give me my precious and you can shove your precious you-know-where."
Tom snatched the book from the player's hands and hid it in his inventory.
"I need weapons and armor. Ungrateful animal! I demand respect," the phantom proudly assumed the pose of the hero who killed the fearsome monster.
Dan took his time. He asked the expert an unexpected question.
"Stop being offended. You've seen this dangerous bounty before. I didn't understand half the description. But about that later. You remember the equipment requirements. Level 5 and Intelligence 5 are required. Cool stuff gives a lot of perks. I want to level up so I can wear the ring," Dan whispered quickly.
Tom nodded his head. He understood Dan's desire perfectly.
"How much experience do you have left after spending on all those daggers?" Tom stared at the player intently.
Dan called up his attributes panel.

"Ah, you lucky son of a lucky woman," laughed the phantom. "You can rise to level 7! Then you'll have 4 free points to raise your Intelligence to 5. Do it!"
"Wait! Level 7 is too much. I'm sure we have monsters ahead of us and most of them will be level 5 and 6. We won't get much experience or trophies," Dan objected.
"You're afraid they'll take the ring away from you," Tom shook his head. "You're afraid for nothing. You've already figured out that you and I have to play away from other people's attention. Just in case, I'll make it clear that the Ring will be hidden from view under a gauntlet of defense.
This ring is more appropriately called the Ring of the Devious Magician. It enhances magical abilities. You can use it to Cloak!
You can sacrifice your experience and increase the level of the ring. Ignoring enemy levels is an awesome bonus! I felt it when I was beating the Queen. A monster with a higher level takes less damage from our attacks. I don't know the exact numbers, it has to be checked. But with this ring, you can deal adequate damage to all monsters that exceed our level by 5.
This ring increases some bonuses when its level is increased. It combines all 4 rewards for joining the Game quickly. We have level 50 skills to increase all attributes! You're a very lucky son of a lucky woman."
"Don't touch my mother," wrinkled Dan Raven. He was uncomfortable with the subject.
"I'm sorry. I heard you. Listen, Dan, don't you want to try the mage's path? With that gift of Destiny, you can achieve great heights," the phantom suggested.
Dan wrinkled his nose in displeasure. He had never played a mage before. Reading about all kinds of magic was interesting. But he didn't want to be a mage at all.
"I don't want to play a mage. I understand that this thing has amazing amplification for a mage. But I enjoy it with a sword. Fighting monsters face-to-face is unrealistically cool. I want to get some sleep and test my strength with monsters again," Dan confessed.
The phantom looked toward the tunnel.
"Quick, buy some armor and weapons! Someone's coming!" Tom whispered the request and continued to watch the entrance to the cave.
