Addi and Raleigh are both snuggled against me as I lay awake. I never went back to sleep after the council called. Was relieved it wasn’t my pack they were calling about but after hearing what happened, it wasn’t sleep inducing especially coupled with what else today is. Lucas went down to get things ready for their arrival while he asked me to stay up here with our mates and pups. Allowed him not to put a warrior at the door and protects my identity.
If the Alpha was on the run, he did something that caused that whole incident. Hopefully the Beta gives up whatever he knows to Alpha Ben.
Those words……I keep hearing them. The phrase is so familiar. But the memory will not come to me.
