“There’s a dress hanging in your closet with all the trappings to accompany it. Meet Halley downstairs at six please.” Seth gives me a hopeful smile as he starts backing out of the door. “Deal?” One eyebrow lifts as he waits for my answer.
“What if I don’t like your outfit selection?” I ask folding my arms under my chest.
Seth takes in my narrowed eyes and somewhat unyielding stance before answering. “Then you can wear whatever you like angel.” His gaze is that loving warmth like always. “Pretty sure I knocked it out of the park though. I’ll know when I see you. I’ll come collect Raleigh in two hours so you can get ready.” His smirk and tone are both a little cocky as my lips twitch a little. I know he caught it as I watch him leave dropping my fake negative attitude.
