ALPHA’S FORGOTTEN MATE

“I am your mate. How can you choose her over me?” I screamed at the top of my lungs. He gave me an indifferent stare and kept walking away. I fell down on my knees and sobbed as I watched him leave with her. He looks at me one last time before leaving, but the other woman demands his attention and walks away leaving me in the dark.  

“Not only in this life, but also in my previous one. I have always loved you. Your rejection hurts. It is as if my gut was struck with a hard needle. I couldn’t think straight but cry over my mate who had forgotten me.

Adonis Wertheimer, the powerful alpha of the ‘Guildenstern Pack’ was feared by all beings. The ruthless and unforgiving warrior fell in love with me and vowed to protect me. I hadn’t shifted yet. Therefore, I was held with contempt by many, but not by my alpha mate.

He loved me nonetheless. But his love wasn’t enough to keep us together, after all. Our beautiful world, Hampelton Town was far behind located after the Dark forest of Bransville. The forests separated our world from the human world. This separation was what kept us safe all these years. But when one of us betrayed our clan for the worthless pleasure of life, our clan was attacked.

My mother and father were slaughtered right before my eyes. I and my mate, Adonis fought through it as much as we could, but we were outnumbered. Just when we were caught, we were given the worst punishment of all. We were buried together alive. 

As we took our last breaths, we took an oath to fend our clan and to find each other even in our next birth. He was my mate and my heart. I certainly didn’t forget him and looked everywhere for him after my rebirth. But things took an ugly turn when I saw my mate, Adonis in the arms of another in the next life. 

He loves me. I can see it in his eyes. Then why is he indifferent to me? While chasing after him, I was caught again by the same filthy beings that destroyed our homeland and was kept in a place with surveillance. 

They want to tear me so that they could find the secrets of our existence. They tortured me invariably which led to the rise of my inner wolf, Cynthia. But I will not succumb. I will destroy each one of them and find my love, Adonis.
