I walked through the less crowded street, with turmoil of emotions in my head. The sudden appearance of Samantha has put me off the track.
Her motherly instinct, her care for me and her love reminded me of my own mother, and it aches in my heart knowing I cannot meet her again.
But I think Lucius was lucky in this case. He has his mother by his side.
Then again, it was not only Samantha’s appearance but also the Bishop’s words that disturbed me.
Nobody can argue that Bishop was highly respected and an intellectual person, but he seemed weird to me. You cannot help feel but be uncomfortable around him.
His eyes, that were brown, held various stories behind them, which I don’t want to dig out.
