Ryoko wasted no time in shifting to her dragon form, followed by Luthor. Both unsteadily roared and blew the first layer of frost.
Everyone was frozen to their seats except King Vulcan whose fire immediately melted the frost. I knew that ice will never work with a fire king so I channeled my spells on water.
"Dome!" I yelled, extending my arms and creating a dome around the battle area. It blocks the noise to the outside world and prevents further damage when dragons are involved.
I spotted Luthor's dragon fighting with Chris's dragon and ran to his aid. Luthor shot a scalding stream of water to Chris which I took into an advantage. Shooting my hand out I yell, "Freeze!"
The water freeze into a huge glacier that slams on Chris who falls on the ground in a groaning roar. I give Luthor a nod and head off elsewhere. Hydreich had engaged in an intense battle with King Vulcan though none of them had shifted.
I began to search for Lucia. Lucia put alone was dangerous enough but you could never know how far she was willing to go. Sure enough, she was pulling up Libelle roughly from her blonde hair to her feet. She was yelling something to her and continuously slapped her.
I watched as Lucia placed her palm on Libelle's heart and whisper, "Everfrost."
Libelle fell unconscious but her entire body was shivering with the beginning of frost engulfing her. Before Lucia could deliver the final blow I stopped her.
"Anastasia! What are you doing?" Lucia shouted.
"She's mine. I'll deal with her," I faked. I couldn't kill Libelle. Not with an unborn baby in her. That child has no fault in any of this nonsense.
Lucia smiled like a cat that caught her prey, "You make me proud, Anya."
When Lucia left I began to drag Libelle away by her feet. When I reached the dome border I ordered, "Open!"
The dome opened a human-sized hole and I passed through easily, dragging Libelle with me. To break the frost that was going to kill her soon I had to toss her into water so that she could thaw. Luckily, there was a garden nearby outside the palace that had a fish pond.
I dragged her down the stairs. Bruises would form later but her life was more important. If she died then it's game over for me and House Hydra. I'll be killed before I got a chance to go back to the human world. To home.
A fireball came out of nowhere and slammed onto my side. I lost balance and fell down the rest of the flight of stairs. My side was burned up and the fabric was incinerated away so my bare skin was shown. A trickle of blood went down the side of my face but I stood up quickly.
"What do you think you're doing?" King Vulcan growled angrily and crouched beside Libelle. "What did you do to her?!"
I eyed the growing frost on Libelle's body that only members of House Hydra could see no one else. So King Vulcan could not see it. "I'm doing what I need to do!"
"Glaze Stream!" I shot out a stream of ice that sent King Vulcan flying backward. I continued to drag Libelle and could see the light coming from the garden outside.
King Vulcan ran up in front of me and grabbed my hands with his. He formed two fireballs in both his palms while still holding my hands, "Stop casting those spells!"
"It burns! STOP IT, " I cried. "RIME!"
Ice wraps itself around my hands and the fire sizzles as its being put out. Angrily, I force blocks of ice onto his hands which weighs him down. "I won't let you kill my child!" King Vulcan hisses as I once again, continue to drag Libelle with the excruciating pain coming from my side and hands.
When I finally reached the garden, I saw that the pond was a few meters away but King Vulcan slammed into me, sending me crashing against a blossom tree. He cups Libelle's body is his arms and looks at me in disgust.
"YOU i***t," I screech. "Levitate traho!"
Libelle's body is levitated away from King Vulcan and tossed into the pond. In rage, King Vulcan throws a blaze in my direction. I cross my arms to protect my face as the blaze burns me. I scream with tremendous force until the blaze dissipates.
King Vulcan launched into the pond and pulled out Libelle's body. Once the frost hits the water it becomes visible to everyone. He saw the frost surrounding her body begin to thaw and shakily stared at me, "You were trying to save her life?"
I wasn't paying attention to him but stumbling toward the pond. The burns scattered across my body ached to the extent that I feel like I was dying. King Vulcan made a move to reach over to me but I flinched away.
"Don't touch me..." I hissed in pain when I was at the edge of the pond. Libelle's body was resting on a patch of grass away from the pond. "Don't...don't worry...the baby is...baby is safe..."
I fell into the pond and feeling the cool water touch my serious burns. I closed my eyes and waited till I sank to the bottom of the pond. It was a clear and clean pond but deep. The deeper I went, the cooler it became.
But then something picked me up by my waist and began to pull me up. I opened my eyes and saw King Vulcan. I immediately shoved him away to which he looked confused.
I shook my head 'no' signaling I had to stay in the water. He still looked confused so I motioned to my burns that were healing slowly in the cool water. He seemed to be entranced and horrified at my burns that he began to breathe underwater.
I could breathe underwater perfectly but he was drowning. I mentally cringed as I swam up to him and cupped his face in my hands. He looked at me like I was crazy.
'I don't want to do this either,' I thought.
I pressed my lips lightly against his and began to blow oxygen into his lungs. 'Oxygeni," I said, transferring some of my oxygen to him. When I began to pull away he pulled me back in by my waist
His lips moved roughly against mine and for some unknown reason, I kissed back. I didn't regret it but I didn't know why I enjoyed it. His tongue reached in my mouth and moved around tasting me. I frowned in response because the sensation was unknown to me. His kiss got deeper and he kept pressing his body toward mine. But I was wrong. I. ME. I was the one pressing against him more and more.
I bit his lower lip to which his dominant growl vibrated through me. There seemed to be no end to it but I enjoying it way too much for my own good. We were forgetting about the oxygen we were losing when his lips moved down to my neck. He suckled it harshly as my arms tightened around him. That is, until his teeth scraped my bond spot.
I immediately put distance between us. He was dazed and his lips a tad bit swelled. I felt sick and swam up to the surface hurriedly. I took a deep gulp of air once I reached the surface. Luthor was waiting for me worriedly.
"What's wrong? We were looking for you everywhere," he rushed in asking.
"Get me out of here...Please...."
