Aurelia's POV
“Helloooo.” I continued to call out, but no one responded. In fact, the only sound I heard was the strange noise that had been coming through the phone. Just when I was about to hang up, I heard my name. “Hello?” I said, my heart beating hard in my chest. No one answered, and I was about to give up when the noise returned. It was getting louder, and I could barely make out what it was saying. “Hello?” I called out again, but there was no response, and then the call was suddenly cut off.
I stood, staring at my phone, wondering who it could be. The voice sounded like Gabriel's, or could it be him? Naah it can't be. I pushed the thought from my mind. I let out a sigh of frustration, putting my phone down on the counter. I finished washing the plate and dried it off
