Her heart pounded inside her chest while her legs followed beta Roman's steps. The rain has seemingly stopped falling but the Grey clouds remained intact in the sky. There was a thick layer of fog blanketing the atmosphere like it was a dark twilight of the Winters.
"Roman, you are sure Emmett wants to meet me?" Caroline asked, her fingers possessively bit onto the skin of his biceps.
