In the blink of an eye, I find myself on top of Malu in the elevator at her building, after untimely leaving my own party. I didn’t plan this. But it’s amazing how impulsive I’m around her. I’d planned a fun night with my friends. This is an important day for me: I’ve been promoted to partner at work. I knew Malu was going to be there.
