Damon’s POV The first light of dawn painted the sky with soft hues of pink and orange, a serene and tranquil scene that contrasted with the turmoil raging within me. I could feel the familiar itch beneath my skin, the primal urge of my wolf yearning to be set free, to run wild and hunt beneath the open sky.
