The atmosphere which was not usually tense when my brothers and I sat down was filled with a tension so taut any slight pull would cut it.
Aiden leaned in, his piercing blue eyes locking with mine, and he spoke with a hint of concern in his voice, "The pack has started to trust the people that we have put in place was the last report you made to us."
I nodded in agreement even though this topic was a sour spot for all of us. We were always forced back to the reason why we now lived in this castle and why we kept trying to live day after day. To make sure that we got our revenge.
