Zora’s POV In the midst of the escalating tension, Aiden’s voice cut through the charged atmosphere like a knife. “Let go, Zora,” he commanded, his tone both firm and composed. A surge of frustration coursed through me, manifesting in an involuntary glare as my grip tightened momentarily around the lady’s neck. The room held its breath, suspended in the weight of unspoken words.
