I could feel anxiety rising within me increase as I softly tapped on the large door. The castle had always been deeply rooted in mystery, but suddenly, when I entered the wing, I was greeted by a scene that completely stunned me.
A lavish room fit for a king or queen, the master bedroom was spread out in front of me. With beautiful, hand-carved wooden beams that displayed the artistry of a bygone era, the high-vaulted ceiling rose high above. Rich tapestries hung on the walls, their vivid colors contrasted with the worn stone, showing dramatic wars and honorable knights.
