I was so f*cking mad at what I saw my 2 most trusted friends doing on the video footage. Though Tilden isn't the one who assaulted Georgia he was still there and had a hand in knocking the books off the shelf. Now I see why Thea came to see me. I punched the wall and screamed F*CK! I was about to go into full-on rage mode until the smell of cucumber melon and strawberries filled my nose. I turned to see my mate scared to death. I apologized to her for my actions tonight and for the actions of my ranked members. She pulled me into a hug and said she wasn't mad at me or upset with me because she knew I didn't know. I could feel her heart pounding and I told her I was sorry if I scared her. She shook her head and said it was the hatred in Josiah's eyes that scared her. I sighed and before I knew what was happening Georgia crashed her lips into mine. When she pulled away, her face was bright red and she said she was sorry. She said her wolf had forced her way into control and made her kiss me. I smirked and asked her wolf to come forward.
"Alpha." She said as she bowed her head.
"What is your name?"
"My name is, Skye."
"Skye, Why did you force Georgia to kiss me if she wasn't ok with it?"
"Mate, My human counterpart is too stupid to see the god before us. The goddess paired us with each other and I want my mate and you."
"I see. Does Georgia feel the same?"
"Of course, she does mate. She is just too stubborn to admit what she has wanted for a while."
I smirked hearing Georgia has wanted me for a while.
"Please control yourself, Skye. I do not want Georgia uncomfortable around me."
"Yes, mate. I will behave."
Georgia began to rant under her breath and I assume she is fighting with her wolf. I sat back and waited until her attention was back on me. She apologized again for her wolf and I told her it was ok and that I enjoyed it. She raised her brow at me.
"I mean what can I say? My absolutely gorgeous and mesmerizing mate kissed me when there is a possibility you are going to reject me. Now I can at least say I kissed the love of my life once before I had to let her go."
Georgia lost her balance and I caught her. I helped her to the couch and had her sit back until she felt stable enough to walk. Once I knew she was ok, she said she needed to get home so she could get some sleep before work.
"Why don't you take the day off?"
"I am sorry Brandon but I can't. I don't want to get into any trouble. I love my job too much to risk losing it or having my pay docked."
"I outrank everyone in this pack. I decided who gets fired or whose pay is docked. If you would like to take the day off to rest and think about everything just say the word beautiful."
"I appreciate that Brandon. I do need some time to think about this. I am sorry if I have hurt you in any way by not accepting you instantly. It's just."
I cut her off and hugged her.
"I understand gorgeous. No need to apologize. Go home and rest. You are welcome to come see me when you are ready to decide. No matter what Georgia, My heart will always be yours."
Georgia left not long after and I sat down on the edge of my bed.
You have a sick way of doing things Moon goddess. Why give her to me if she may not accept me? I have remained pure for her and she for me. Why possibly take my happiness from me? What did I do to deserve that? I know I am not the best Alpha and I know I have done wrong in my life but to be given something so beautiful and so mesmerizing and just have it ripped from me is a bit harsher of a punishment than I deserve for my wrongdoings. Please moon goddess don't take her away from me. I found the love of my life and I don't want to lose her. I promise to get my sh*t together and get this pack back in order. Please give me the chance to love her and prove I can be a better Alpha and mate.
I pleaded with the moon goddess for a while before laying back on my bed and closing my eyes.
***** [I was standing before my father's grave promising him when I took the title of Alpha I would make him proud of me. As I walked away from his headstone I could hear him saying I was a disappointment. I turned to look back and no one was there. I called out for my father but got no response. My surroundings changed and I was standing in the pack courtyard. Georgia was in front of me and she had a look of disgust on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she yelled I was what was wrong. She said the moon goddess paired her with the wrong person and she was disgusted with me and how I ran my pack. I begged her to give me a chance to make things right and she shook her head.

I woke up sweating and had tears running down my cheeks. I looked around my room I was alone. I sat up and cried. I mean I full-on cried which is something I haven't done in a very long time. Was my father really disappointed in me? Was Georgia really disgusted with me and going to reject me? I mean I knew the possibility of her rejecting me but I thought after she kissed me and after talking with her I might have a chance to show her I am not as bad as she thinks I am. I sat there staring off at nothing with tears streaming down my face.
