Face to Face
Seven: Teagan
As I start to wake, the first thing I notice is I’m very warm. I snuggle deeper into the softness I’m laying on. I take a deep breath at the warmth surrounding me. I feel safe for the first time in years and that suddenly wakes me fully up. I snap open my eyes and look around the brightly lite room. The first thing I notice is a window that has the drapes pulled open with only sheer curtains covering the window. Bright sunlight is flooding the room that has light grey walls with dark chestnut stained dresser next to it. As I look around the room at all the handmade furniture, I notice an emblem on each and every piece. It’s a moon with stars on the inside with a howling wolf head.
Just seeing that emblem brings everything back to me. I know where I’m at now.
