Eva's POV The morning sun filtered through the narrow windows of my chamber, casting warm, golden light on the stone walls. Lia was busy arranging my clothing for the day, her movements precise and purposeful. The air was filled with the faint scent of lavender from the herbs she used to keep the room fresh. “Have you decided what you’ll do about your business proposal?” Lia asked, her tone neutral but curious. I sighed, staring at the sketch I had made of my clinic’s design. “I’ve been trying to figure out. Let's go to the market.” The city was alive with the hum of activity, the cobblestone streets echoing with the sounds of vendors calling out their wares and children playing. Lia and I strolled through the market, our conversation turning to the latest challenges facing my clinic.
