"Prince Kai, why did you let Miss Eva go? She’s just gotten out of bed!" Ron asked, clearly perplexed. The new lady of the house was quite a character. Not only did she keep his master on edge, but she had also stirred up issues in the pack’s politics and within the once harmonious alpha family. Where there had once been a semblance of unity, now there were evident disturbances, jealousy, and conflicts.
"She’s not someone who can be confined to the house," Kai said, dismissing Ron’s concern as he focused on an incomplete map. Only by finding the missing pieces could he address the ongoing issue at the border.
