I had a lot of alone time to think about my whole mate situation on the drive back to Silver Blood from Black River. Luna Symone is a remarkable woman. She is strong and resilient. Her presence demands respect just by the way she walks into a room. Alpha Roman told me she threw a couple of knives at his head after that whole embarrassing situation with Raeann. I couldn’t help but laugh. Symone is a powerhouse who takes no s**t from anyone. I rather enjoyed seeing her put my sister in her place. Raeann would definitely be punished for defying me and embarrassing me and misrepresenting the Silver Blood pack.
As I turned into my territory, I felt a pang in my heart. It felt as if someone I cared for was being touched romantically by another man.
