RAVEN’S POV
We sat in silence for a moment as we ate our food, staring out of the large bay window, watching the hard rain bead down the glass. I tried to keep my eyes off her, trying not to make her feel uncomfortable. She spent a lot of time avoiding my eyes, struggling to control her arousal. It smelled so sweet. I would much rather be tasting her than the burger.
“Your mother is a nice woman. I would think she would have taught you it’s not polite to stare.” She finally met my gaze, looking at me with an annoyed expression. I responded with a smirk and she looked away quickly with a sigh.
“You are a very beautiful woman, even when you are throwing knives at my head,” I chuckled before shoveling a few fries into my mouth. She sighed before facing me again.
