“Sir, the girl left Silver Blood. She wasn’t there for any more than twenty-four hours,” Jarvis, my subordinate said as he entered my office.
“What was she doing there? Was she marked?”
“No clue what she was doing there, sir. She was granted access to the territory and we lost her once she went inside. We trailed her the next morning when she left. She was still unmarked.” I rested my chin on my hand, wondering what to do next.
“Sir, if I may ask. Why do you wish to know about this girl? Who is she?” Jarvis questioned. I used my speed to move from behind my desk to Jarvis’ face in the blink of an eye. Within seconds, his throat was in my hand and the back of his head was against the wall.
“That girl is on a need to know basis. I will decide when or if you need to know who
