A couple of days later, Eachan’s wife, Binne, returned. She had been away at her uncle’s holding, as her cousin’s wife had recently given birth. Both mother and babe had been ill, and Binne had gone to give what aid she could. She was not a Healer, but her father had been. She had some knowledge of herb lore and so she went to assist the Healer who was tending to the new mother.
