Everyone’s attention is now directed to the Queen. I was grinning from ears to ears, anticipating the announcement the Queen will make. I glance at King Antonio who looked so drawn to Queen Isabel as she makes her speech for him. My heart swelled in happiness for both of them.
“I know that you were only forced to marry me after you descended the throne. But I’ll remind you over and over again, Antonio, that I’ll be loving you ‘till the end of time,” Queen Isabel said. It didn’t escape from my ears how her voice trembled. And after a few seconds, her shoulders shake which made everyone gasp in surprise, even me!
