“What are you two doing here?” Queen Isabel asked once again when she finally arrived in front of us. She glanced at Lorenzo before she looked at me. I bit my lower lip when I met her gaze. I don’t even know why I suddenly felt ashamed that she has to see me touching Lorenzo’s face!
“We’re just strolling around. I’m touring her around the palace,” Lorenzo was able to answer for me. I glanced at him, only to see King Antonio making his way in our direction. I blinked as my eyes widened in shock. Good heavens! The King also seemed to witness the scenario earlier! There’s no way the two royals in front of us didn’t see what I did?!
Argh. Why is it that my body is doing things without giving it a second thought?
