12 Taz didn’t miss the axe until after, when Jeremy’s back was turned, she’d hotfooted it out of there. Jeremy shouted something in the distance, but she couldn’t tell what. Only stubborn self-control, overlaid with some depressing common sense, stopped her from running all the way back to the team.
