6 Captain Jack “the Pirate” Spahr loved being a weekend warrior. Army National Guard was typically about doing your monthly weekend and helping out with the occasional flood relief. In exchange he got to fly a twenty-million-dollar helo for the fun of it. Being called up to fly bucket brigade on a forest fire for a few weeks just made it all the sweeter.
