I watched Maxwell from the sideline working on his ladder drills, passing and running over his snap drills. Maxwell was back to his old self, the tough playmaker but without the arrogance. My heart was beating differently at his delightful grins and laughter. I didn’t want to give the credit to be the reason behind it but he made it obvious when he jogged past where I was seated and shot me a grin or a wink every time. Last night wasn’t a mistake and I didn’t feel guilty about sleeping with him no matter how many times I try to guilt-trip myself for breaking the law. No one from the law department can know about our real relationship behind the cameras and I didn’t want to get ahead of myself, believing we are a couple just because we slept together but it wasn’t hard to imagine myself
