"All they'd have to do is discredit you. A few anonymous leaks about your job performance. Maybe some rumors and innuendos about your character. Nothing that can be traced back to anyone specific, but enough to ruin your reputation, make it really hard for you to get any kind of decent job once you decide to resign your position."
