Chapter 10Despite all attempts by Aleck to contact Julen, he’d failed. To make it worse, every time he tried to focus on something else, and push Julen from his mind, Julen’s beautiful face, popped up. It seemed that the harder he tried, the more difficult it became. Add to that an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach that something was very wrong, had Aleck checking Julen’s shop yet again for any signs of life. Peering in through the gallery window, Aleck saw it was just as empty as each time he’d checked over the last few days. Julen was still not back at work. He shivered. Something’s wrong.
