Danny was surprised. Jack had chosen Alterrio’s, Aunt Daisy’s favorite restaurant, for their late night dinner. How often had the two of them dined there, enjoying the ambiance and excellent cuisine before Aunt Daisy became too frail to venture outside of the nursing home? The hostess led the group to their table. “Bret will be your server tonight. He’ll be with you in a moment.” The attractive young woman passed out the menus and left. Almost immediately a cute busboy arrived and poured water for everyone. A scant minute later Danny was looking up into the liquid brown eyes of their waiter. He was huge. Even in his white long-sleeved dress shirt his arms strained to burst the seams and his chest sought to pop the buttons. He had one of those five o’clock shadows that made Danny salivat
