CHAPTER 3 HIS LOYAL SECRETARY WARNING! THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS LIGHT (s****l, SUICIDAL, DANGEROUS, EXPLICIT) SCENES AND WORDS NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE BELOW 18 YEARS OLD. READ AT YOUR OWN RISKS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! “Well my trusted aide, your prince is now done, so will you join this humble prince and have fun at the bar?” Leerion rolled his eyes at him and left ahead. Travis smiled like a child and followed after him, he was already planning which girls and how many should he pick up along the way. Leerion saw through his thoughts and silently gritted his teeth in irritation, however, Travis failed to see the changes in his mood. Travis drove the car while Leerion sat on the shotgun seat, he swiftly drove towards the bar where they will be meeting the boys tonight. Entering the V5 bar, Travis met the boys who just got off of their cars, Jordi, and Rupert... However, Elteen was nowhere to be found. They decided to wait for him a little longer by the parking lot while they conversed with each other to kill some time. “There he is,” Jordi said while looking at a Rolls Royce car parking at the space beside Travis’s car. “Dude! Been a while!” They instinctively pat each other on the back as a greeting and went inside the bar together, since Rupert owns the place, they didn’t have to get checked and immediately went to the VIP room prepared just for them whenever they arrived. “Have you guys heard? Augustine will be coming back after 5 long years away, I feel like it’s because of Allana.” Travis, the gossipmonger amongst them started to chat, he had mentioned that they met Allana earlier today and told them that she was willing to meet with the squad after a few days. “If it’s true that Allana will be divorcing that i***t, then Augustine might have a chance on her.” Rupert chimed, the others nodded their heads in agreement however Leerion just silently sat on the side swirling the liquor on his glass of wine. “Dude, how’re the things between your lives?” Rupert asked everyone, unlike the others, their group had always made sure to help each other out even if it sounded too emotional. “Well, Hiraeth and I have been well, but I can’t help but notice that since her sister’s death, she started to be so weird and distant at times, however, all is well. I just need to be patient with her.” Jordi said, amongst them, he was the one who was the first to be taken and each had been single or with other people out of the group. “It’s normal, Hiraeth had always been so close with Hera, they’re inseparable. However, let me warn you about that woman that I had seen before that was bugging you, never let your guard down. Now that Hiraeth is being emotional. One wrong move from you and it might break her. She is like a little sister to everyone. Her brother will surely skin you.” Travis warned. Jordi nodded his head in agreement and went silent. However, Leerion's words surprised everyone. “If you have growing interests, wreck it before it hurts everyone. That girl brings nothing but trouble.” He uttered in a low voice and they all quickly eyed Jordi who silently drank his beer, the obvious guilt in his face made everyone understood what leerion meant. They are not in the right place to nag Jordi, but they hope he won’t mess things up. “How about you El?” Travis quickly changed the subject. However, they were bound to feel weird the whole time for they all are facing their own problems they can’t voice. “Nothing new contracts to sign every day,” Elteen answered cooly. “Have you seen Traci? She became even beautiful after years of being away.” But everyone can see the conflict reflect in his eyes. “Yeah I saw her the other day, she was with this man who appeared quite intimate with her.” “Maybe she is now over Elteen? Good for her, she deserved be-” Travis’s words were cut short when the glass Elteen was holding hit the marble table loudly. They lifted their heads and looked in his direction with curiosity. “Is there something wrong Elteen?” Leerion asked the corner of his lips raised into a condescending smile. Amongst their group, aside from Augustine, Leerion was one of the best at reading people’s emotions and he is quite close with Elteen at times. “Nothing…. Nothing at all.” Elteen said then he stood from his seat and took his things at the side. “I just remembered I have to do something, the drink is on me as an apology. Well then… I will get going.” TBC Maple Writes (If you guys want to read the first book of the series, do tell me.
