Domenic left me and stepped down the stage when Ryder came up. I helplessly kept watching him going away from me. Ryder hurried, took me in his arms, and began stroking my back, soothing me.
"Riya, are you okay? I have called an ambulance. It must be coming soon," Aldo came and asked worriedly.
But my eyes were still looking for Domenic.
"I am alright, Aldo. But Domenic will be hurt. Please take him to the hospital," I pleaded.
"I will see to him and take him to the hospital. Don't worry," he assured. "Are you really okay, Riya?!" He asked again softly, his eyes showed concern.
I nodded. Aldo exhaled loudly.
