I heard some sounds from the kitchen, and my sleep was disturbed. I groaned as I knew it would be Bethany. She used to wake up so early. She had a schedule to follow strictly. I glanced over at the bed and found Nic and Riya sleeping peacefully.
Though I had to sleep on one side throughout the night, I didn't remove my hand from them. I kept holding Riya the whole night. She looked nervous in Bethany's presence. It was not only her, but Bethany used to be intimidating. In fact, I used to feel like that when we were together. Bethany knew how to get into any person's weak point.
