Chapter 6 “He’s here?” Winter, one of Dane’s competent baristas, blinked at Sean in confusion. “No one’s seen him all day.” Sean sighed and pulled out his phone. Dane hadn’t been answering texts and it was getting late. Winter didn’t look too concerned—Dane was in and out of Crypt Coffee at all hours normally, and she was a chill individual as far as Sean had noticed. She’d been in one of his classes about a year ago, a goth transgender woman who worked hard and loved monsters.
