Dane watched Sean walk off, join the flow of students on the sidewalk, and disappear. He was tense and tapped the steering wheel as he tried to figure out just what the hell to do now. Even if he didn’t see it, there was no way Seth wasn’t something, some friggin’ non-human person or shifter or any number of things. Sean definitely wasn’t overreacting, and Dane felt like s**t now knowing he’d assumed the professor had seen something, but misjudged its severity.
He was an asshole. He didn’t want to think about it. He had a drink from the flask, returned it to its place, and got out of his car. Dane wasn’t about to leave campus while Sean was still here.
