Festival

Alice and Therese really outdid themselves, Alice in a turquoise maxi dress and Therese in a red mini. They really are the opposites of each other, yet some how twins. Alice is quite tall, long curly blonde hair, absolutely smoking body from all the working out and sports she plays, and her face is always vibrant like she has the energy of an Alpha. Then you switch to Therese who is much shorter, long kick ass natural fiery red hair, much curvier body in all the right ways, boobs that I wish I had and a face that says I'm fun, but dangerous.  Walking into the festival I feel like all eyes are on us, which today must mean that we are looking damn fine, because this festival isn't pack run, so majority of the people here are just ordinary humans.  Being a human right now doesn't actually seem like it would be a bad thing, they all seem so happy and carefree.  No huge life changes just around the corner for them. I'm envious. Wait am I really daydreaming about what it would be like to be human? Felicity snap out of it.  We make a few laps around the festival, going for a ride on the ferris wheel, apple bobbing, scarecrow making and even had our pictures taken with the Autumn harvest wagon. The girls all laughing and having fun, really distracted me for a while, which is what I so desperately needed.  "We absolutely should get some henna work done, I've always wondered what I would look like with a tattoo, maybe this will guide me" Nicola asked the group with a smirk. Why not we all decide as we head into a little yellow tent on the outskirts of the festival.  "Hello there ladies, I'm Katie, here to get some friendship henna aye?" said this goddess of a woman with short dark hair, sleek build, glistening skin, skillful henna up both her arms and a cheeky lip piercing as she walked over to us from the back of the tent.  We all sat down in the tent and watched Katie in awe as she showed us some designs, we picked a loose tribal style bracelet, all the same but slightly different for each of our strengths.  That was Nicola's idea. Trying to think of what strength to portray in my bracelet design but I really wouldn't have a clue. "I'm pretty good at my woodwork skills?" I ask Nicola while she gets hers drawn on, using a wolfs paw as her strength, signifying her strength, agility and wild side. She just shakes her head at me letting me know that is indeed not my strength, or one that she is willing to accept anyway.  I don't even have any abilities to use as my strength, other then seeing colors which I 'think' are linked to emotions, but no one knows about that because its not a normal ability for a werewolf. Maybe my quick thinking sense of humour? No. "It's your heart Felicity, you have the kindest heart, you always help whenever someone needs it and compassion and empathy just ooze out of you" Alice reassures me from the other side of the tent, she could see that I was in some state of distress trying to think of something because it was just about my turn to get the henna done.   Alice's symbol added into her bracelet was a ball, she believes her strengths lie on the field where she is happiest, which I think is very fitting. Therese got a flame added to hers, she said it shows her fleeting and dangerous nature. I cannot wait to see what special ability Therese gets after her eighteenth birthday, I just know it is going to be bad ass.  "Felicity, your up love, come on over and get comfy" Katie called over to me with a warmth just radiating off her, she is giving off an orange glow making me feel warm and welcome. My ability to see colors is actually really helpful when it comes to meeting new people and getting the right 'vibe'.  I take a seat and get ready, the other girls bracelets look sensational, I'm excited. Katie starts with her little brush, it feels a little wet and cold, but also a nice new sensation. A few swirls later and Katie pulls the brush from my skin to eye off where she is going to draw next, but as we are both looking at the work she has just done, it soaks into my skin and vanishes.  "What on earth was that!" I jump up from the chair yelling out in panic as I grab my hand and try to feel for where the henna was just on my skin. I am freaking out. What even just happened. Katie grabs my hand and closely inspects it with worried and scared looks in her eyes. I get the feeling she has never seen this happen before. "Felicity I have no idea what just happened or how that is even possible, do you have any ideas?"' Katie asked me. "Nope, none, no idea" I barely squeak out in my panic induced state.  While I stand there and freak out some more about what just happened, Katie fills in the girls and they all come over to inspect me to check I'm alright. No one seems to have any idea what just happened or how it is even possible.  "Maybe we should ask Madam Prea" Therese suggest ever so quietly, probably hoping no one would hear that insanely crazy idea. No one goes to Madame Prea unless its like a life or death situation, she is easily one of the scariest werewolves around and there are several rumor's that she is half werewolf, half witch.  "Therese are you insane?" Nicola yells out. Really only stating what the rest of us where thinking though. However the more that I think about this insane idea, I wonder if Madam Prea knows anything about seeing colors? or if she can give me some advice on my birthday coming up.  "Actually I agree with Therese" slipped out of my mouth before I could even stop it. With defeated faces Alice and Nicola agree to all go see Madam Prea as a group so we are safer, which is a fair call really.
