"here we are" i said "yes we do.. lets make coach proud" my team mate said.. by the way im Samantha "red" vega" they called me red because of my red hair and how much i like the color red all my things were red.. we are now in the stadium where a taekwondo competition is happening and im one of the participants im not representing a school though because i want to have a different status there.. "hey ive noticed you sleep alot these days" my team mate said " yeah ive been busy alot lately since im now in junior year" i said "one more year and you're on your senior year" he said "yeah" i simply said when we got there i change into my uniform and started to stretch while waiting for the list when and who is my opponent be.. "nervous?" someone asked and i looked up and smiled at the person asking me "not really excited maybe" i told her "you really are something" she said said and left "leigh!" i called her back and she look back at me "good luck to you too!" i shouted to her and she just smiled at me... leigh is one of the people knew my personality well since she was the first person to actually approach me to join the team she is like a big sister to me an hour before the finilized the list of the participants i went ask my coach to let me go out and buy some food since im starving when i bump into someone in the crowd.. " oww sh*t im sorry" i told the person when i looked at her my eyes widen in shock because i didnt just knew her but the whole school knew her she's one of the most popular girl in the school she is the ice queen.. "its ok i didnt saw you either" she said back and walk away "did she notice who i was? does she know? ' i ask myself those question not because im afraid of her but because the school doest know i know the school doest care if you join some team outside the school but to think that why would you rather join a team outside school that to bring your own right? but i have so many reason for that and one of that is i dont want to be part of the pyramid of the school i dont need the pressure and besides with the GPA of 1.0 why would you choose to be part of the school jocks and dont have time for study than you can have both.. no pressure... my mind drifted back to reality when i someone called me and the my school uniform varsity team... "red..." my team mate said standing next to me and looking back in the team walking past by.. "sh*t" i said "yeah deep sh*t dude.. what if someone recognized you here" he said "i hope no one and besides im no one in the school" i said "tony will you be a good friend and buy me a nutribar while i talk to coach" i said to him pleading tone he took my money and sigh but he also went to a booth that sells nutribar.. while i was walking i saw in the corner the i queen standing and bored facial expression is evident in her face while talking to the team captain of the school taekwondo a.k.a her boyfriend "i told you babe this will be the once in a lifetime event that school approved imagine we will be fighting againt some other independent team like they dont have any schools that back them up" he said excitement in his voice could be hear.. she only sigh and tried her best to smile.. i continue walking back to my team and told coach what i saw but he just told me to do my best.. after a few minutes my named was called good thing that they allow us to use our alias than our real name for this competition.. my team mates where shouting and supporting me.. we bow to the people officiating the game and to the referee and bow to the opponent before starting the game.. whenever im in the game i always clear my head like there is no one around and its only me and my opponent so i can watch all her moves.. and when she is about to kick me i turn around to avoid her kick and jump and kick her in the side of her head she stumbles and the referee stopped me and start counting when he finish counting to ten the referee announced that i won for the first round via k.o bronze medal is secured now we go for silver' my team mated went to me and congratulates me.. "20 seconds in time that's a record dude" one of my team mates said i just smiled but it didnt take that long when i saw the ice queen is looking back at me like she knew something.. i took of my armor and head gear and was about to walk away when leigh called me.. "where are you going?" she asked "to the wash room im just going to cool down" i told her all the wash room in the ground floor is flooded with people so i went to the second floor that no one is around.. i put some cold water around my nape when i heard the door open and i looked in the mirror and saw her again the ice queen her back is pressed against the wall and arms crossed she is looking back at me and when i looked at her she just smirked... when im about to ask if she's following me people just suddenly burst inside and when i look back at her again she just vanished... my mind always drift back to the ice queen.. 'its weird because its the first time she gave an interest to me.. the ice queen why?'
