As of now he had 1 wife and daughter to it, her name is Han Saewol and their daughter is Saebyeol. 2 Concubines Concubine 1st Concubine Sang Dari 29 yrs old and had a sons Shin Dabyeol, Shin Dawang; 2nd Concubine Do Wanyoung and had a son and daughter Shin Gyeolwang and Shin Gyebyeol. Eventhough he had a wife and concubines he doesn't have an Empress because according to him he didn't yet found someone else to loved and love him back. Because his wives are made to have an alliance and for countries peace. He is also a loving father and a caring husband for each of them.

Go Haera- a general who loyal to the Emperor no matter what happened, her priorities is to protect his majesty and also she fell in love to him since before and she loves him secretly. 35years old. She is also a leader of shadow guard of palace and black robes who protect his majesty everywhere he go.
Bulan Ganda- a daughter of Datu Bulan Adlaw the one who saved him from snow and the one he choose to marry on all of those Datu's daughter. 25 years old. Because after so many years Datu back to Shilla to find the guy he saved to choose a bride from his daughter as Shin Byeolyong promise after teaching him his skills.
She is diligent, kind, peace maker, a filial daughter and a good fighter. She says "I will never marry for the rest of my life to any man except if I loose to him on a dwell."
3rd Prince: Shin Byeolhae- a Prince who known for God of War. 29 yrs old. He and his troops never loose in any war he dwell with except for the Night Watch Man. That's why he became angry every time cross their path. But they are allies when the palace is in chaos they fight together and knock them out together.
He loves his sickly brother and had a good term to him but he is against and not in good term to the Emperor and to his other siblings eventhough... he is obedient to the Emperor.
He is a Concubine son and he had a brother to his mother the 4th Prince Byeoldal.
4th Prince: Shin Byeoldal - a puppet of Queen Dowager. 27 yrs old. He do everything her mother said eventhough it is against to his will because he loves her the most.
He is a prince and a spy of her mother. According to folks the Emperor had a most troop and supporters. Then second is Empress Dowager and the most least is the sickly Prince. But in reality Sickly Prince is the most powerful because his sect is famous for folk and everyone can join there as long as they are really determined.
5th Prince: Shin Byeolbaek- a merchant Prince. He is also known for 2nd richest Prince, but no one know who is the first. 25 yrs old. He is called Jinx for creating and inventing useful and non useful things. He love eating the most.
6th Prince: Shin Byeolwon- a prince from a private maid of late emperor. 28 yrs old. He is known for studying medicine and no interest in throne.
His look is stunning that's why many girls fall for him but sorry he is taken...he already had a wife, concubine and children. His wife name is Sang Eunji the sister of Emperor's Concubine Sang, they had a sons Shin Eunwon and Shin Jibyeol. His Concubine is his distant cousin Shin Hyeshin and they had twin sons Shin Hyewon and Shin Shinbyeol.
7th Prince: Shin Byeoltong a prince from a commoner mother, his mother leave him to palace because she had no money to fed for him at that time. And now he do his best to conquer everything he want. And now his target is to get the throne. If you look to him he look a nonchalant guy but had a desire for throne.
