Aten was born in Hierakonpolis, an ancient Egyptian city built on the banks of the Nile river. His parents were common people, and Aten was their second son. He had an older brother, and their family lived a simple life, working in a small shop in the market. Growing up, Aten saw the Nile as a source of life, a river that brought fertility to the land and sustenance to the people Aten grew up in a small, tight-knit community in Hierakonpolis. His parents were hardworking people, and they taught Aten and his brother the value of hard work and compassion from a young age. As a child, Aten was curious and adventurous, always eager to explore the world around him. Aten's childhood was marked by the Nile river that flowed through the city. He and his brother would often play along the riverbank, catching fish and swimming in the cool waters. They would watch the boats sail up and down the river, filled with goods and people from distant lands. Aten was fascinated by the stories the sailors would tell, of the different cultures and customs they had seen on their travelsAten's uncle was a sailor who used to visit him every six months. His uncle was a kind and adventurous man, who would regale Aten and his family with tales of his travels and adventures. Aten was fascinated by his uncle's stories and dreamed of one day joining him on a long sailing journey. His uncle was a major influence in Aten's life, he introduced him to different cultures and customs, and he showed him how a different life could be, which helped Aten to understand the world more and also gave him an idea of what he could do. Aten's uncle had a crew of sailors, who were like a family to him. They had been sailing together for many years and had been through many adventures together. Among them, there was a man named "Zaki" who was the first mate, he was a wise and experienced sailor, he taught Aten many skills and tricks of sailing. Another man was "Hassan" he was a navigator and he was a master of the stars and the winds, he taught Aten how to navigate and how to read the signs of the sea.
