"Thomas! Open up!" Anne calls out as she bangs her fists onto the wooden door. The hinge shakes again and I feel dread wash over me. I didn't want to see her. I didn't want to see anyone right now! My gut feeling told me she knew something about all this and I couldn't bring myself to forgive her if I found out this was true. "Thomas! Someone was shot! Did you have anything to do with this?!" she insists, pressing that door handle as if the lock would get bored and give up. "Persephone shot him."
