Chapter 19

I am going for my c section today and I'm so nervous I cried so many different times I think the guys are sick of it. We get up at five in the morning and all four of us drive to the hospital. I hold onto Dallas trembling and worried. I told them if something happens to take care of Dallas and our babies. They check me in and the doctor starts the procedure. Dallas sits by my head and kisses me constantly.

"your doing good sweetheart",he murmurs kissing my head.

"did they cry yet? Dallas please make sure they are okay. Where are Dakota and Kansas?",I rambled on making Dallas and the anesthesiologist chuckle.

"everything is fine Mrs. Knight doctor Swan is one of the best baby doctors in the state your in good hands with her. So did you two pick out names yet?",she asked looking around the barrier they put up.

"I like the name Tyler Adam Knight and Audrey Marie Knight",I said waiting for Dallas to object. All he did was smile and kiss my head. We heard the first cry and tears filled my eyes.

"it's a boy, the doctor said handing him off to nurses before going for our daughter, and we have a girl",she says happily. I am gonna pull out the placenta and stitch you up. Congrats mom and dad",she said getting to work on my stomach. It took two hours till I was stitched and stapled up. After being put in my room I sighed happy to not be pregnant anymore. I was shivering after being put in the recovery room. My teeth were chattering bad.

"can I please get another blanket,I asked the nurse, I'm freezing",I said between chattering. Dallas followed our babies while I was fixed up and I haven't seen him in hours. I was still shaking when Dakota and Kansas walked in smiling. Seeing me shivering both looked alarmed.

"sweetheart you okay?", Kansas asked covering me up.

"n-no I-I'm f-freezing",I stuttered out. The nurse is going to get me another blanket",I rambled out between my chattering teeth. Both walked over and hugged me gently.

"can one of you get in beside me I'm really cold and Dallas followed our munchkins",she said moving and hissing in pain. Tears filled her eyes and ran down her pale cheeks.

"sure honey please don't move much or cry Dallas will lose it if you hurt yourself", Kansas said removing his shoes. He moved my blankets and got in slow. I snuggled up to him hissing but he was very warm and it helped.

The nurse chuckled at us.

"I see you got yourself a human warmer",she said covering me with a heated blanket.

"thank you", I mumbled enjoying the warmth my eyes drifted close and I fell asleep leaning on Kansas. I felt Dakota take my cold hand and rub it with his warm ones.

"she asleep?", Kansas asked staying still.

"yep she went right out. I hope nothing is wrong she was shivering more then she ever did before. I hope our nephew and niece are okay",I mumbled kissing her head.

We talked quietly till Dallas strolled in followed by a nurse with the new additions to the family.

"what happened?",he growled moving closer to her.

"nothing asshole she was shivering and asked us to warm her. You need to chill bro", Kansas said rolling his eyes. He grumbled under his breath and looked at her warily. Tara was pale and still shivering but now she was whimpering in pain. She woke and hit her call light.

"you okay sweetheart?", Dallas asked kissing her lips gently. She nodded as tears filled her eyes before some slipped.

"what's wrong honey?",the nurse asked looking concerned.

"can you help me to the bathroom I really have to go and my belly hurts bad",she said blushing brightly. She got up wincing in pain and looked ready to cry. The nurse came out and hurried out the door. When she came back the doctor was with her and they hustled to the bathroom alarming us men.

"f**k Dal do you think Tara is okay?",Kansas asked looking at the door.

"don't know did she say anything before falling asleep?",he said looking ready to go off.

"just that she was cold and you followed the munchkins while she was fixed up", Dakota said rocking his niece.

"guys meet Aubrey and Tyler",I stated proudly.

Both chuckled and smiled as both babies yawned big. Looking at the bathroom I was seconds away from flipping when the doctor asked me to step in.

"your wife needs you Mr. Knight",she said going back in. I walked in and saw Tara crying while holding her stomach. She looked in pain and upset.

"what is going on sweetheart?", I asked reaching for her. She handed me a note and once I opened it I growled and pulled her into my arms. Amber just signed her death certificate I was going to kill the b***h nice and slow. She threatened not only my wife bit our newborn babies.

"here honey take this",the doctor said handing Tara pain pills.

"thanks doc and I'm sorry for going off I was worried", she rambled before hugging me. I could feel her shaking as she clutched my shirt. Once the nurse and doctor left she started crying in my chest.

"I'm scared Dallas she wants to hurt our babies",she said trembling. I kissed her head and made her look at me. Once her eyes met mine I kissed her passionately and gently held her. She mumbled something in my chest and whimpered my name.

"I'm sorry for being so weak Dallas just the thought of losing our babies, you or your brothers scare me so damn bad",she said kissing my chin. Poor thing had to stretch to reach that which resulted in hisses of pain.

"Easy sweetheart",I said bending so she could kiss me without hurting herself.

"I'm sorry for flipping and crying. Are the twins okay?",she said pushing her hair back from her face. I kissed her softly and helped her use the bathroom. After she brushed her hair and teeth I walked her back to her bed. I handed Kansas the notes and he looked up pissed. Dakota pulled out his cell and called our hacker and tracker.

It is time to hunt people down.
